Wind Directional Cap

Research has proven that the most effective draft inducing caps are those that 1) separate the wind stream as it flows over the cap and 2) those that rotate to align with the wind direction.

FAMCO's Wind Directional Cap does both to provide maximum drafting.  In usage, the rotating hood is kept in proper position (relative to the wind) by the wind vane.  Air movement past the hood creates a partial vacuum in the flue, enhancing draft efficiency and helping to prevent downdrafts.

The WDC is engineered to slip over the O/D (outside diameter) of a single wall pipe and with the help of an adapter (WCA) fit into an insulated or multiwall pipe.

The Vacuum Cap has over 60 years of use worldwide increasing chimney drafting and preventing downdrafts. This is an all around quality cap that will give many years of service.  Available for round pipe or square tile.

Universal Cap

The Universal Cap is an ideal replacement cap and is made to fit most brands of single and multi-wall chimneys.  It is available in galvanized and stainless steel.
