This section provides information on zone and air quality controls and systems. It is highly recommended that many homes , both new and older, install zone and air quality systems for health and energy saving reasons. With a zone system home owners heat/cool only those rooms that are occupied, heat/cool an upstairs room without heating/cooling the rest of the house or set one bedroom temperature lower/higher than the others. Conditioning only the areas that need it will save energy and money.

In the new homes of today, indoor air quality is a major concern due to the tightness of the shell of the structure and the materials used. These homes need to have fresh air brought into the living space to help remove the bad air and contaminants.

ZONE CONTROL MODULE

The PSMZ 100 series provide a simple, low-cost zoning system for up to 4 zones. The PSMZ 200 can control up to 7 zones. Quick connectors (using stand phone plugs) between the thermostats and main board make it the easiest board to install on the market. A master thermostat has to be used in zone one to control appliance function. Both models have test ports to check damper operation, build in autochange over is standard and automatic compressor short cycle protection. Can be used with Heat Pump, electric or gas/oil and multistage appliances.

The Air Control Center is designed to periodically introduce fresh outdoor air into the indoor environment. The ETN-24-OA-PROG series is ideal for residential, commercial or industrial applications. This series is designed for use on HVAC systems using electric heat, oil, gas, central or hydronic heat or heat pump .
