The FAMCO Reducers (IR-Increaser Reducer) and (TR-Tapered Reducer) are designed to reduce the duct size of a forced air run in a short transition. By decreasing the duct size, this maintains the CFM in the run and maximizes air flow. The TR model has better air flow due to the tapered design and the IR model is best for use in tighter spaces with low air volume.
