Celebrating 35 Years of Excellence

KAYLENE GALLOP- EXECUTIVE TEAM MANAGER

As FAMCO celebrates 35 years of business, we honor some of longest serving employees like Kaylene Gallop. Kaylene, formerly known as the Executive Team Manager, has been with FAMCO for the last 14 years and has taken on the role as the “chaos coordinator” behind our operation.

Prior to her start at FAMCO, Kaylene had experience with companies that she felt like she had to “walk on eggshells” with. She said that everyone was so afraid of management and the risk of losing their jobs that work felt like a mortuary. That is when Kaylene met Marty Artis- the founder of FAMCO. She said that he gave light to her life and took away the darkness of her last job. For the first time, Kaylene was happy to come to work and to go home. Marty helped Kaylene feel energetic about what she was doing, and she took more ownership for her job. She explained, “I wanted to do things right because I put myself in the shoes of the owner of the company”. So, Kaylene took on whatever projects came her way. She had the opportunity in doing a variety of tasks and helping the company in different ways. She was encouraged by all the employees to expand her knowledge, being sent to various seminars to have a greater understanding of the business as a whole. Even during her time of learning, Kaylene felt comfortable to make mistakes because she was reminded that all things could be fixed and that all mistakes were part of the learning process.

When Kaylene talks about her job at FAMCO, the first thing she talks about is the family-oriented atmosphere. She explains that FAMCO is a place your “heart grows into” and the employees make it feel like home. Everyone is very friendly making it a very fun and relaxing place to be. The management team extends genuine appreciation and care to the employees that makes their work worthwhile.

During her time at FAMCO, Kaylene has shared many memorable occasions with her coworkers. Among the BBQs, anniversaries, cornhole competitions, Kaylene has felt encouraged to relax and have fun. One of her favorite memories is when Aaron and Jacque, brother and sister, got into a snowball fight in the middle of the office which then resulted in Jacque getting her face put into the snow. There have been countless smiles, tears, and laughs shared between Kaylene and her coworkers over the years, that she will forever hold onto.

We are thankful for employees like Kaylene Gallop which have shown up to work every day with a great attitude and positive mindset. 35 years of business is the result of employees like Kaylene that take pride in their work and share the experience with others. On the behalf of FAMCO, thank you Kaylene for your dedication to our company, we are so happy to have you on our team!
