Drill

These can be picked up standalone or in kits that include various bits that perform various tasks, including boring, step-drilling, dremeling, and so much more. Common home repairs that would necessitate a drill include: tightening/loosening screws, rehanging gutters, and doors. Specialized bits can be bought as you need them, but a basic drill set is perfect to start out with.

Tape Measure

Inevitably, there will come a time when you will need to take measurements.
