Yes - our "flange on back" models are designed to be installed from the interior. All of our louvered gable vents have fixed louvers angled downwards.

I am confused by the "W" and "H" dimensions shown on the isometric drawing above. These dimensions appear to show the rough opening required. I need two vents where the rough opening is 14"x 20". Is the vent I need a GV1218 ? Thanks in advance for your time.

our 14x20" vent would be designed for a 14x20" opening, and would include a 1" flange on all sides for mounting.

at least 14" x 16" to fit the vent - our 14" x 16" gable vent will have a 1" flange on all sides, so the total dimensions of the vent including the 1" flange would be 16" x 18"

We need the 8x8 galvanized, air intake or exhaust vents for exterior 8 inch thick concrete block walls, we are using the two method venting, do you sell the ducts to connect the exterior louver to the interior one?

A is the 12x16; 16" wide (side to side) and 12" heigh (top to bottom)? Or is it the other way around? I need one that is 16" side to side and 12" high (louvers being 16" wide).

The box itself would be 20x20", with a 1 inch flange on all sides, making the total dimensions with flange 22x22" (the 12x16" would be 14x18" with flange, respectively)

These will have fixed louvers.

We are currently only able to manufacture these gable vents in galvanized steel and copper, and are not able to offer them in aluminum.

The louvered gable box will be 18"x18", with a 1" mounting flange attached on all sides, bringing the total unit dimensions to 20"x20"

FAMCO provided the exact 14×14 replacement for the damaged vent in my garage. The superior construction of the replacement vent will be much less prone to the damage incurred by the original vent. Having the option to order the vent with the flange on the back (FOB) allowed me to temporarily install the new vent over the old vent (with the flange on front).
