Ours would be a nominal 4" size, so you may need to use a crimping tool to connect this to your duct.

both ends will be 1-7/8" - total height with the conical section on this 18x12" tapered reducer will be 6-3/4"
What is the size of 7 inch round, is it exact 7 inch or slightly less? I am looking to reduce 7 inch ducts to 6 but not sure how this one will fit. it would be great if you can advise.

This product is designed to be in the exact stated size, and you may need to crimp one end in order to connect to certain duct work.

8” end needs to be “male”
I had to add some metal to the 14 inch side for clearance for the fan unit in my application. But it worked out.
