  5. I had to add some metal to the 14 inch side for clearance for the fan unit in my application. But it worked out.

    Ours would be a nominal 4" size, so you may need to use a crimping tool to connect this to your duct.

    both ends will be 1-7/8" - total height with the conical section on this 18x12" tapered reducer will be 6-3/4"

    This product is designed to be in the exact stated size, and you may need to crimp one end in order to connect to certain duct work.
