The FAMCO BKCU bathroom fan / kitchen exhaust roof vent is designed for use with bathroom or kitchen exhaust venting systems. This roof mounted vent comes with a built-in hinged damper to prevent backdraft, and includes a removable ¼ screen to prevent hood access by birds and many insects. Quality constructed from heavy-duty 16 ounce, 24 gauge copper. This vent is not intended for roof top dryer termination. This model does not have an extension for flex tubing, please see our BKXCU series for the model with 3 inch long pipe extension. The FAMCO BKCU bathroom fan / kitchen exhaust roof vent come for pipe sizes ranging from 4 inch - 10 inch. The FAMCO BKCU bathroom fan / kitchen exhaust roof vent is manufactured by FAMCO in the United States and comes with a 1-year warranty against product defects and workmanship.     Well built

    We’ve used various products from other sites, the switched one day when our supplier was out of copper exhaust vents… will continue to buy from Famco as they stand by their products and have had nothing but positive feedback from houses we’ve installed.

    Nicely built but the screen should be better secured.

    Nicely build but the screen is simply placed and not secured. Any minor movement dislodged the screen. I went to the local hardware store and purchased copper wire. Then I needed to drill holes in the into the unit to “thread” the copper wire to secure the screen. This worked great. The vent looks great and is working well.
