Description

The FAMCO GBV globe vent is an economical gravity ventilator for use on residential, commercial and industrial applications. This vent is not rated for any forced exhaust applications. The FAMCO GBV features watertight construction and a low silhouette while offering positive draft for good airflow. Sizes 3 inch - 12 inch will include an adjustable drawbolt collar that offers a secure fit, yet is easily removed when needed. Sizes larger than 12 inches will include a fixed band and are not adjustable. Quality constructed from 28-24 gauge galvanized steel, depending on size. The FAMCO GBV Globe Vent comes for pipe sizes ranging from 3 inch – 18 inch outside diameter, see our specs sheet for more details. This product uses our FB, PB and SB round vent bases on certain applications requiring a mounting flange. The FAMCO GBV globe vent is manufactured by FAMCO in the United States and comes with a 1-year warranty against product defects and workmanship. The Globe Vent is not recommended for forced exhaust, but we do have several roof vents that can be used for this purpose. For a dryer application, you would need to take out the removable screen from one of the vent options in our "Piped Exhaust Vent" section at the link below.
