At FAMCO, we take pride in recognizing the dedication and hard work of our incredible team members. This quarter, we are thrilled to spotlight Ana Ramirez as our Employee of the Quarter!
Ana has been with FAMCO for four years and currently works as an Assembler II in the Supermarket cell. In this fast-paced role, she prepares a variety of materials for other cells, builds components for our products, and works on everything from vent hoods to dampers and screens. Her speed, precision, and commitment keep operations running smoothly.
Ana’s contributions extend far beyond her primary role. She is known for pitching in wherever help is needed. She helps clean the office, bathrooms, and cafeteria, while also helping to organize birthdays and events. Her outgoing personality and willingness to lend a hand make her a friend to everyone at FAMCO.
When asked why she thinks she received this honor, Ana humbly credits her dedication, team spirit, and desire to help others.
The award came as a complete surprise to Ana, so much so that she started jumping for joy and nearly stepped on her glasses! Being recognized by her colleagues and managers meant everything to Ana. It validates her hard work, motivates her to continue giving her best, and reinforces that her dedication to FAMCO is both noticed and appreciated.
One of Ana’s favorite parts of working at FAMCO is the close-knit, family-like atmosphere. She values the camaraderie, knowing that if she ever needs help, her colleagues are ready to step in. And she always returns the favor. She takes pride in learning the technical aspects of her job, recalling how challenging it was at first to measure parts and work efficiently under time constraints. Thanks to the patience and support of her team, she has mastered her role and now feels confident and skilled at what she does.
Ana is also deeply committed to fostering a positive team culture. She ensures that tasks are completed on time, offers patient guidance to new employees, and adapts her teaching style to suit each individual’s learning needs. Her attentiveness and ability to meet people where they are at helps to make new team members feel comfortable and supported. She credits her lead and teammates for her growth, noting their patience, encouragement, and trust as she learns new skills.
FAMCO’s family values resonate deeply with Ana, who sees her workplace as an extension of her own family. She believes the company has helped her become the best version of herself at work.
When asked what her favorite part about working at FAMCO, Ana said, “To talk to everyone… and also offer them help.” She remarks on how the whole team has made her feel welcomed since day one, and she looks forward to coming into work with them.
Ana’s advice to new hires is to give it your all. She acknowledges that the experience can be overwhelming and intimidating to learn at first, but with a willing and focused mindset, you will succeed.
Outside of work, Ana loves to spend time with her family. Ana has a son with down syndrome so she spends a lot of time with him among her other kids. They are her whole world. She also loves to go out and dance: Activities that reflect the same energy and joy she brings to her role at FAMCO.
