At FAMCO, hard work and dedication don’t go unnoticed, and Anthony Vargas is a perfect of example of that. As our Employee of the Quarter, Anthony has made a meaningful impact through his consistency, adaptability, and commitment to doing great work.
Anthony has been with FAMCO for four years, and his journey reflects both personal growth and a willingness to take on new challenges. He began his career working in flashings and then transitioned into laser operations which he now balances with his current role of working with our boxing machine, a position he started just three months ago.
Each step along the way has built on the last, and Anthony’s ability to adapt has helped him succeed in every department he’s been part of.
Anthony’s daily tasks keep him consistently engaged. It’s steady and established work that keeps him moving, and that’s exactly how he likes it.
He shares his favorite part of his role is when he has a lot of work, explaining, “I like to stay busy”.
Anthony admits he was surprised to be named Employee of the Quarter, but for those who work alongside him, the recognition makes perfect sense. His efforts in learning and operating new machinery played a big role in earning the award.
Being recognized by both management and his peers meant a lot to him. “It feels really good to be noticed,” he said simply, reflecting the pride that comes with being acknowledged for hard work.
For Anthony, going above and beyond isn’t about flashy moments, it’s about responsibility. As expectations grow, so does his motivation.
“The more work I have, the more responsibility I have, and people expect more from me,” he explained.
That sense of accountability is what keeps him pushing forward and delivering consistent results.

“The staff has created a really positive work environment and everyone has a good attitude,” he said.

Outside of FAMCO, Anthony likes to relax and recharge. Whether that’s hanging out at home, hitting the gym, or spending time camping near Lucky Peak Lake.
