This vent is not rated for dryer ventilation, the screen will trap lint and could create a fire risk. Quality constructed from heavy duty 16 ounce, 24 gauge copper. The FAMCO SWVCU wall vent includes a ⅛ inch insect screen to prevent duct intrusion by birds and many kinds of insects.
