For Jeimy Nunez, the best part of coming to work is the people beside her. In her 10 months at FAMCO, she has found a team that supports one another, takes pride in its work, and shares a commitment to meeting customers’ needs. Now, we’re excited to recognize her dedication as FAMCO’s Employee of the Month!
As an Assembler II in the wall vent department, Jeimy helps turn that commitment into action every day. Working alongside her teammates, she focuses on keeping production moving and getting customer orders out the door. While the work requires individual effort, she sees the department’s success as something everyone contributes to.
“Everybody here works together, like a little chain,” Jeimy shared.
Each person plays a part, and those connections make it possible for the team to fulfill its responsibilities. For Jeimy, that teamwork also creates an atmosphere she looks forward to being part of every day.
“The atmosphere at FAMCO is incomparable,” she said.
When Jeimy learned she had been named Employee of the Month, her first reaction was happiness and gratitude. She thanked God, then her wall vent teammates, whose hard work she sees as an essential part of the recognition.
Although the award carries her name, Jeimy doesn’t see it as an individual accomplishment alone. To her, it reflects the effort her team puts into serving customers and supporting one another.
That perspective says a lot about how she approaches her role. Jeimy takes her work personally and tries to make herself available wherever she can help. Whether she is supporting a teammate or contributing to production, she wants to do her part to help FAMCO succeed.
Being recognized by her peers and managers feels especially meaningful because it shows that those everyday efforts are noticed. She also knows she is surrounded by people working hard to do their best, and she is quick to share the credit.
For someone starting a career at FAMCO, Jeimy’s advice is to embrace the experience, give your best effort, and bring care to whatever you do.
“Do everything with love,” she said.
It’s a simple message that reflects her own approach: take pride in your responsibilities, show up for the people around you, and trust that your hard work matters.
Outside of FAMCO, Jeimy enjoys going to the gym, reading, and spending time with her son and family. Those moments give her opportunities to stay active, learn, and enjoy time with the people she loves.
