At FAMCO, our success is built by employees who consistently show up with a positive attitude, a willingness to help, and a commitment to quality. This month, we’re proud to recognize Yuli Poblano as our Employee of the Month.
With eight years at FAMCO, Yuli has grown alongside the company, building experience across multiple departments and becoming someone the team can always count on. She began her career as an Assembler I in the supermarket department before moving to BK and J Vent as an Assembler II. Today, she works in the CVR department as a Senior Assembler, where her versatility and craftsmanship continue to make a difference every day.
One of Yuli’s favorite aspects of her role is the variety of work she gets to do. She rotates throughout her department, taking on tasks such as bending, welding, pressing, and packaging products. She especially enjoys working on more complex parts that challenge her to think through each step of the manufacturing process to create a high-quality finished product.
Teamwork is another area where Yuli shines. Whether she’s helping a teammate troubleshoot a problem or moving to a different department to support production, she’s always willing to step in wherever she’s needed. In fact, when asked why she thought she received the Employee of the Month award, her answer was simple.
“I just try to do the best that I can. If I get moved to another department, I just do it.”
That humble mindset is exactly why she was selected. Management recognized Yuli as someone they can consistently rely on. She approaches every assignment with a positive attitude, adapts quickly to changing priorities, and is always willing to help without hesitation.
Receiving the award came as a surprise. In fact, Yuli laughed as she shared that she didn’t even hear her name announced at first—her coworkers had to tell her she had won. Although this is her second time receiving the recognition, she was just as surprised and honored as the first.
Outside of work, Yuli enjoys spending time with her three children—two daughters and one son. Whether it’s relaxing at home or participating in whatever activities her kids want to do, family is her top priority.
That focus on family is also one of the reasons she enjoys working at FAMCO.
“I like FAMCO because it is a family-first company. They understand that personal life matters, whether it’s doctor’s appointments or taking care of your kids. They do a lot for their employees through benefits, PTO, and celebrations. Everyone is involved with each other, and it creates a really great atmosphere.”
For new employees joining the team, Yuli offers some valuable advice:
“Focus on yourself, be aware of your surroundings, and remember that safety comes first. Speed will come later. If you focus on learning and doing the job right, you’ll catch up.”
