At FAMCO, our success is built on the dedication and teamwork of employees who consistently go above and beyond. This month, we’re proud to recognize Jessica Perez as our Employee of the Month.
Jessica has been a valued member of the FAMCO team for three years. Since joining the company through an agency, she has expanded her skills to support teams across the production floor. As a Senior Assembler, Jessica manufactures various flashing components and regularly steps in to assist other departments whenever workloads shift. Her versatility and willingness to learn have made her familiar with many of the production cells within the facility.
For Jessica, teamwork plays a major role in her success.
“It’s easier and quicker to get projects done when everyone works together,” she shared.
“Orders are finished before they’re required because the team supports one another.”
One of Jessica’s favorite aspects of her position is the opportunity to continue learning. After completing work in her own department, she enjoys helping in other areas to gain new skills and broaden her understanding of FAMCO’s operations.
When asked why she thought she was selected as Employee of the Month, Jessica pointed to her willingness to support departments that needed extra help. Her flexibility and team-first attitude have not gone unnoticed. And receiving the recognition came as a complete surprise.
“I didn’t know it was coming,” Jessica said. “I’ve been nominated before but never selected. I was very happy to finally be chosen.”
Jessica’s favorite part about working at FAMCO is the people she works with every day. She enjoys the relationships she’s built and appreciate the friendly atmosphere within her department.
For new employees starting their careers at FAMCO, Jessica advises them to be patient. She reflects on the first several days where things can be complicated, but urges them to keep going.
“As you become more familiar with the people and the work, it becomes much easier and enjoyable.”
Outside of work, Jessica enjoys spending time with friends and family and making the most of her free time.
