Congratulations to Shane Meredith for his outstanding dedication, hard work, and exceptional contributions to our team here at FAMCO! Shane is receiving this award due to his contribution to making FAMCO a cleaner, more efficient and a better place to work. He has shown true initiative and drive for improvement and continues to push FAMCO to be an industry leader.
Shane consistently goes above and beyond, embodying our company values and delivering excellence in every task he undertakes. His commitment to quality, innovation, and teamwork truly sets him apart. Over the last several months, Shane has been helping to optimize the processes on the production floor and improve the skills of our employees with Level 1 Factory Certification. This training helps to increase efficiency within the manufacturing cells, increasing capacity through more efficient workflow. While also completing the Factory Certifications, Shane has been a key part of the building move team. He has helped to set a high standard of organization and efficiency as we make this tricky transition. He has been working tirelessly for the last several months to make FAMCO a better place for everyone.
Shane has been a great asset to the FAMCO team, sharing his previous work experiences with much larger companies that FAMCO can implement here. Shane has been able to grow in his skills this last year by learning the processing of sheet metal manufacturing.
Shane says that his favorite part about working at FAMCO is the family atmosphere. He finds that everyone is willing to help and support each other, regardless of the task. He believes this also carries into the team culture the leadership team has encouraged. The leadership team implements a teamwork and teambuilding atmosphere and follows through on the vision. Shane says that in previous companies, he found that these values were only talked about, but FAMCO follows through with it. Since Shane joined the team a year ago, he says he has felt very fortunate to be a part of FAMCO and is looking forward to the future of continuing to make this a better place to work!
When Shane is not at work, he enjoys spending time with his family and taking time for various hobbies like adventure motorcycling, archery hunting, and camping.
