We do not - however, we do make a 3 inch to 4 inch adapter that can be used with this soffit vent to take it down to a 3" opening, this can be found on our website here:

While it is not spring loaded, the damper is slightly weighted on one end that rests on a small peg, closing the damper until the force of the exhaust pivots the damper open.

    Just what I needed

Put in a bathroom fan and needed a compact vent due to small soffit dimensions. This was perfect. Found the flapper to oscillate during use so added nickel sized self-adhesive furniture pad to dampen. That worked and the oscillation was probably caused by erratic airflow through ducting, not a design defect. Will be installing same for next bathroom upgrade.

Received or order in a very short time. The vents work perfectly with the flexible 4×25 ft flex duct for bath fan exhaust. You will need a 4-3/8″ hole saw.

Exactly what I was looking for. Very helpful when I called. Shipping cost was crazy, but Famco really can’t be held accountable for that.

Functional, small size and low profile, fairly obvious to use but instructions would have been appreciated.

I wanted a brown soffit vent for bathroom exaust fan and it had to fit a small area. This was perfect. I installed this in about 1/2 an hour. It helped that the bathroom ceiling was open to place vent hose close to 4 1/8″ hole I drilled in soffit. Cover snapped right on with no problem. I did ream mounting holes with countersink bit so flat head screws didnt stick out. Dont know if it was necessary but didnt hurt. Would buy again if I needed another one.

Nice vent and easy to install. I super glued insect screen to it to keep bugs out.

Well built and easy to install. I did find that the baffle can open past the vertical and might tend to stay open. I drilled a couple tiny holes and ran a wire across to prevent it opening too far, and I glued a penny to the baffle to give it a little more closure weight. (I think I saw the same thing in another review. You might want to mold in a couple tabs to keep the baffle from over-rotating.

Love it. There needs to be very fine brass mesh screens added on the inside to the filter only to make these perfect to me.

Good product., However I would absolutely advise against using 4 3/8 inch hole saw. That is too big make the 4 inch product difficult to center in the hole. Your screws might not find purchase in the material you are screwing into. I wish I had used a 4 inch hole saw. No reason to go bigger.

Great quality and clean installation. The damper seems to get stuck in the open position sometimes, but I’ll watch it long term and see if it finds its groove.

Do not use as a dryer vent cover. Recently did a dryer duct cleaning for a customer who had this vent installed on their soffit for a second floor dryer with a soffit exhaust location. The fine filter grid was completely clogged shut with lint that was caked together and impossible to remove without a rigid pick. Had to cut the fine grid pattern out with a multi tool to make the configuration functional. Needless to say the contractors who built this home were not thinking clearly, or cutting corners using this as the vent cover since they likely had ordered many of them for the numerous upstairs bathroom vents.

Second one I’ve bought. Blends perfectly into our soffit.
