Last time, we talked about 4 amazing home improvement YouTube channels for all skill levels. The point in all of that was focused on home improvement as a DIY project, the would-be user’s ability level, and the typical content that is searched for when one simply searches for basic content in either level of expertise. But what if someone was interested in building an auxiliary structure, or remaking a room in their home on a shoestring budget?
Welcome to Part 2, where we here at FAMCO discuss even more amazing YouTube home improvement channels that we think you should check out, along with the interesting, unique content that each one possesses.
Living it Country
This channel has a little bit for everybody. From Christmas decoration inspiration to constructing a DIY wall out of free repurposed pallet wood, this is truly a channel for any DIYer of any skill level. There is also a plethora of other home improvement projects listed in another section such as fence staining, installing rustic wood beams, and doing an office makeover. If your place could use some rustic ambiance on a shoestring budget, Living it Country may be just the channel for you.
Third Coast Craftsman
If you’re feeling a little more ambitious, the Third Coast Craftsman may be the way to go. Not only do his uploads include in-depth pieces such as milling lumber with an Alaskan chainsaw, but also building an entire deck from scratch. Many of these projects will require specialty tools and knowledge, so please proceed with caution.
From everything to room renovations to bus tiny house conversions, this channel is for the ambitious home improvement fan who likes challenging and unique projects. However, there is also a smattering of videos that cover domestic projects as well, such as a mega cat tree and a bathroom remodel for under $500. Popular uploads on this channel include a modern platform bed, an attic-to-home theater conversion, and modern dog house. A little something for the pet lovers, as well.
Home RenoVision DIY
If you were needing to learn how to quickly hide TV wires on the fly, or build a shed over the weekend, say, this is the perfect channel for you. Home RenoVision DIY can be considered a go-to resource for pretty much everything related to home improvement. From installing/repairing drywall to painting a room, you can get almost all of your basic questions answered here.
Paul Ricalde, aka PaulsToolbox
While the bulk of his content revolves around building and repairing, Paul also has great DIY videos, like one where he shows how to do a DIY accent wood wall with no nails or glue. Other interesting videos for home improvement DIYers include how to repair/revive/recondition cordless tool batteries, how to build cabinets, how to replace fascia, and so much more.
