Description
The FAMCO WVEB Hooded Wall Vent With Screen, Damper, Spring & Gasket. The WVEB Wall Vent is made with a spring loaded damper, gasket and screen. This vent cap is used as an exhaust vent and has a removable screen. Large hood design prevents restricted air flow. Quality crafted of 28 gauge Galvanized steel. The FAMCO WVEB Hooded Wall Vent includes a ¼ inch screen to prevent pests from getting in and a built in damper on a light spring for opening and closing.
The WVEB is available in sizes ranging from 3 inch to 10 inch (the size refers to the diameter of the pipe). Manufactured by FAMCO in the United States and comes with a 1-year warranty against product defects and workmanship. Yes - we would recommend using a Rust-Oleum brand spray paint.

can I get this without the spring loaded damper. and how much would that be
A
We currently only supply and ship these wall vents with the damper installed - however, the damper can be removed by cutting off or forcibly removing the two plastic tabs on the sides of the vent that hold the damper rod in place.

I HAVE DARK GREEN SIDING, AND I HAVE PAINT TO MATCH IT. CAN I GET THE VENT IN PRIMER OR FLAT FINISH?

We do offer this vent in a pre-painted finish in either black, brown or white. The SKU number for the painted style is "WVEBP".

The vent covers seems very well made and looks good. Not sure how it works yet. Have not installed yet b/c it does not come with pre-drilled holes which was disappointing. I will have to find someone to drill the holes for me or return the product. Customer service was very helpful in suggesting I could go to Home Depot and maybe get the holes drilled there. Thank you!
