This vent is not rated for dryer ventilation, the screen will trap lint and could create a fire risk. Quality constructed from heavy duty .020 aluminum. The FAMCO SWVA wall vent includes a ¼ inch insect screen to prevent duct intrusion by birds and many kinds of insects.

This item is high quality. The dimensions in the description are spot on. I purchased two to use as my intake and exhaust vents for my dual hose portable a/c. They work perfectly. I would definitely purchase these again.
