Description

The FAMCO WV310P rectangular wall vent is designed for through-wall kitchen range exhaust in narrow clearance terminations. This vent features a hinged backdraft damper, and can be ordered either with or without a removable ¼ inch bird screen. Quality constructed from heavy-duty 28 gauge pre-painted galvanized steel, available in black, brown, or white.

The FAMCO WV310P fits kitchen ducts sized 3 ¼ inch x 10 inches, providing 26 square inches of free area. The FAMCO WV310P wall vent is manufactured by FAMCO in the United States and comes with a 1-year warranty against product defects and workmanship.     My home is 2x4 construction redoing kitchen wall cabinets 15" deep vs standard 12" will have an over the range microwave with rear venting out exterior wall, microwave requires a special bump out bracket due to 15" deep wall cabinets. So rear vent on microwave will not be right against the wall presumably about 3" from wall. I want to confirm this vent has a long enough sleeve for this type of installation.

    Yes, you could use this vent with this type of application, although this may depend on your local building code, and we do not manufacture a product designed to transition these rectangular dimensions to an 8" round pipe, you would have to source that elsewhere.
