The FAMCO GVCU louvered gable vent is used for attic ventilation and for air intake or exhaust applications. Please see the spec sheet for different mounting flange options (flush mount, flange on back, and recessed mount). The gable vent comes standard with a ⅛ inch insect screen. Quality constructed from heavy-duty 16 ounce, 24 gauge copper. The FAMCO GVCU louvered gable vent dimensions are width x height. Sizes are available from 12x12 inch up to 24x24 inch, size refers to the outer dimensions of the louvered box, minus the mounting flange. The FAMCO GVCU louvered gable vent is manufactured by FAMCO in the United States and comes with a 1-year warranty against product defects and workmanship. It would be nice to have the option to choose the thickness, even if it meant I had to pay more because it was too flimsy.
