The FAMCO BKX bathroom fan / kitchen exhaust roof vent with extension is designed for use with bathroom or kitchen exhaust venting systems. This roof mounted vent comes with a built-in hinged damper to prevent backdraft, and includes a removable ¼ screen to prevent hood access by birds and many insects. Quality constructed from heavy-duty 28 gauge galvanized steel. This model includes a 3 inch long pipe extension beneath the flange for connection to flex tubing, please see our BK series for the model without pipe extension. This vent is not intended for roof top dryer termination. The FAMCO BKX bathroom fan / kitchen exhaust roof vent with extension come for pipe sizes ranging from 4 inch - 10 inch. The FAMCO BKX bathroom fan / kitchen exhaust roof vent is manufactured by FAMCO in the United States and comes with a 1-year warranty against product defects and workmanship. No - this product does not have a flange designed for use on a metal roof, and is typically used on asphalt shingle roofs
